Following a career as a professional singer, Anthea Dwyer started her teaching practice in 2003, and since then has been instilling confidence and sharing her expertise with singers from the local area and as far as Essex, Herefordshire and the Isle of Wight, with many going on to forge their own careers in singing.
As well as 1:1 singing lessons, either in person or online, pupils can take Graded examinations, and take part in the annual Summer Showcase concert. The "Carols and Mince Pies" is a social get together at Christmas, which includes a sing along session (and lots of food!!).
Adrian Dwyer has spent more than two decades performing as a soloist with opera companies and orchestras all over the world, and fell into teaching as colleagues increasingly sought his vocal and career advice.
"Over the past few months I made a conscious decision to expand my teaching studio, and look forward to welcoming new students of all ages and styles. My approach to teaching is practical, with an emphasis on modern voice science; I believe that if you can’t demonstrate a technique correctly then you shouldn’t teach it. That said, establishing a firm vocal technique is only the path through which we can unlock the expressive power of your voice.
